Model V-3 Falling Ball Viscosity Comparator

This instrument measures viscosity and detects contaminants in lubricants. This viscosity test method utilizes the principles established in ASTM D 445 Standard Test Method for Kinematic Viscosity of Opaque Fluids. 

The Gerin KOH Ampule Test Method

Measures the quantity of potassium hydroxide required to neutralize acid in one gram of oil. Our products allow for a quick and easy way to test transformer and other petroleum fluids for acidity. This condemning limit test method tells the user if the test fluid is either above or below a selected total acid number (T.A.N.).

Acidity Test Kits

Our kits contain a case, glassware, and reagents for 25 test kits. Kits are also available for 100 tests. Both come with reagent packages.

Easiest interfacial tensiometer to use on the market. You can make up to 3 consecutive tests on a sample before resetting. No skills or elaborate cleanup after each test. Contains all the tools needed to store, carry, and conduct the test. The tester cannot be used for hazardous chemicals.

The PSB-97 is a simple, economical, and visual tool that allows the user to thoroughly examine petroleum-insulating fluids. Oil color and clarity also provide added date to determine if insulating fluids are suitable for further use. 

Model V3-A

This kit includes the Gerin Model V-3 Falling Ball Viscosity Comparator with 100 Acidity test supplies with 100 KOH ampules and 4 quarts of Gerin Neutral Solution. Kit also includes 1 durable carrying case, instructions for use, Model DCA-319 Spent Oil Receptacle with clips, Gerin Neutral Solution dispensing bottle, 4 100ml high quality polyethylene beakers, 4 acidity test cylinders, a record form, and 9 oil sample jars.
